Asomedwe Walton is a Minister of the Gospel. He has been called by God to be a blessing and to draw the nations into an intimate relationship with God.

He's currently undertaking post-graduate studies in Church Music at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Studies, Ogbomoso.

Asomdwe's passion is to seen lives transformed through an encounter with the Living God and this drives the composition and production of his music.

Ultimately, his desire is to live a life poured-out, glorifying God - His Saviour, Lord and King.

Forever You are God is a sound of adoration, declaration, trust and dependency on the Sovereign and Unchanging God.

The lyrics of the song are directly based on Psalm 90:1-2

It was received and composed by Divine inspiration in 2018 but was not released until 2022. The composer literally woke up singing the chorus of the song.

Remarkably, the rest of the song was received later that same day. However, the final bit of the song was received, composed and arranged in 2021.

Forever You are God is a clarion call for the nations unto a deeper intimacy and trust in God who has proved Himself worthy to be trusted. The song emphasizes that God is who He is forever - throughout the ages, from generation to generation and from everlasting to everlasting.
